We host sound clips curated from across the public web, and we do not claim original authorship of that audio. If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on one's behalf) and believe content on this Site infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice as described below, in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).
Filing a Takedown Notice
To be effective, your notice must be in writing (email is fine) and include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail (a direct URL on our Site is ideal) for us to locate it;
- Your contact information — at minimum, an address, telephone number, or email address;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

Our Response
Upon receiving a valid notice, we will act promptly to remove or disable access to the identified material.
Counter-Notification
If you believe material you posted or that relates to you was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address including: your contact information, identification of the removed material and its former location on the Site, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the applicable federal court.
Repeat Infringers
We reserve the right to remove content and restrict access for repeat or egregious cases of claimed infringement.
