MyViralInstants ("we", "us", "the site") does not require an account to use, and we keep the data we handle to the minimum needed to run the site. This page explains what that data is and how it's used.

1. Information We Collect

We don't have user accounts, logins, or forms that collect personal information for normal browsing. Two kinds of data are involved in using the site:

  • Stored in your browser only — your theme choice, volume level, loop setting, favourited sounds, and which sounds you've already played are saved in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device; it is never sent to or stored on our servers, and clearing your browser storage removes it completely.
  • Standard server logs — like virtually every website, our infrastructure (including our CDN/security provider, Cloudflare) automatically logs basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and performance purposes (e.g. blocking abusive traffic). We don't use this to build advertising profiles.

2. Cookies

We don't set our own tracking or advertising cookies. Cloudflare, our security/CDN provider, may set a small number of cookies strictly for bot-protection and performance purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

  • Google Fonts — page text uses a font loaded from Google's servers, which involves your browser making a request to Google when the page loads.
  • Cloudflare — used for content delivery and protection against malicious traffic.

4. How We Use Information

Any information described above is used solely to operate, secure, and improve the site — for example, understanding which sounds are popular. We do not sell personal information, and we don't run ad-tracking networks on the site.

5. Children's Privacy

MyViralInstants is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Your Choices

Since your preferences and favourites are stored locally, you can reset all of it at any time by clearing your browser's site data/local storage for this domain.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. Significant changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
